Producing accessories – Distributing accessories

The accessory elements of lightweight halls affect us not just aesthetically but they have an important part in preserving the functionality of the building.

The steel structure and the trapezoidal sheet/sandwich panel are not enough to construct a building for mounting you need accessories. We help our customers in the production of these, as well from the screws to the flashings.

Our company produces or distributes all kinds of accessories which can be needed for the general execution of a lightweight building such as Monterrey, purlins, all types of flashings (e.g. dressing or drain) as well as the screws necessary for the assembling of building elements.

For the execution of the building of course we need other supplementray materials and our company also deals with that. For example the flashings can be produced from painted or galvanized sheet according to the needs with a length of 2-6 metres. Sheet thickness can be between 0.5-2 mms.

Why is it vital that the production and the mounting of flashings would be precise?

Because along the door and window hinges, the fitting of the drains and the ridge cover if the execution is bad the water can flow in easily. This can “eat up” the building during the years.

So you shouldn’t save on the production of accessories. You had better pay a bit more one time than the lifespan of the building would suffer from it.

While mounting the flashings you need to be very careful as well, a precise execution is a primary point of view. That is why it is important that you work with a really good tinsmith or a general contractor who has an experienced tinsmith in its team.

What is purlin and what is it used for?

The purlin is a horizontal element (beam) which provides support and buttressing and is parallel to the roof angle. So the purlin keeps the roof’s weight and thus it relieves the walls from the sideward pressure.

Purlins are widely used for secondary roof and wall structures and with all kind of buildings. The lightweight purlins have several advantages:

Purlins are quite light compared to their load carrying ability. So the roof structures made from lightweight purlins are also light.
It has efficient material use. The required load carry can be reached with a thinner cross-section because of the great solidity of the material which means material and cost-savings.
The space required for transporting lightweight purlins is small so delivery cost is also smaller.
It is easy to solve the local increase of lightweight purlin load-carry e.g. by lapping the purlins into each other so you can avoid redoing the whole roof or wall structure.

The corrosion resistant quality of lightweight purlins is excellent because of the galvanized material so they can be used in difficult circumstances as well.
Lightweigh purlins are fully made from recycled material so the whole roof can be recycled with little energy.

The lightweight purlins are produced from cold rolled, thin steel sheet rolls. These purlins can be stored in the factory.

The lightweigh purlins can be C-, D-, hat- or sigma purlins according to their cross-sections.
